Thursday! We have been in Italy for less than a full week but it feels like so much longer because of everything we have accomplished.
Today we did laundry and hung it out to dry while the lizards around the villa flitted about. We made caffe latte and scrambled eggs with tomatoes and literally fell in love with our breakfast.
We ventured out to two close by towns today in tuscany. We saw another wedding party and so many little shops and museums and churches it can get overwhelming. We tried not to get lost but took some wrong turns in alleys...but everyone is friendly so find our way back EVERY time.
We met an amazing couple from London at dinner in Volterra. This place really is the United Nations. They are on a walking tour of Tuscany. Yep, walking. Every day like 50 or more kilometers. We said, we were just in San Giminango and they said...°oh° we are walking there tomorrow.
And he had actually been to Oregon for a theatre tour when he was acting...small world.
We miss our families and friends but are grateful for each other because we travel well together and that makes it really great.
We were able to upload some more pictures...just a few snippetts.
The next few days we will head to Siena, Florence and then to Venice.....Arrivederci!
